The question is, what impact has Suhrawardi's explanation of the principles and values of the Iranshahri political thought system had on our understanding of governance and justice in this system? It seems that Suhrawardi, using the concept of Illumination Wisdom, explained and interpreted the principles and values of the Iranshahri political thought system in a way that based on it, balanced and fair governance has been introduced as a fundamental principle in politics. The present research is of a fundamental type and has been designed and compiled with a qualitative method and a descriptive-analytical approach and a library-documentary (filing) method. The purpose of this research is to explain Suhrawardi's thought on the political thought system of Iranshahri in ancient Iran. The findings show that Suhrawardi, by combining the wisdom of the Illumination and the cultural heritage of ancient Iran, was able to define the fundamental principles in the field of governance and justice, and was particularly based on moral and spiritual values. یکی از اصلی‌ترین موضوعاتی که از منظر مطالعات تاریخی ، توجه قاطبه تحلیل گران را معطوف به خود نموده ، ذکر این مسئله است که با توجه به غنی بودن تاریخ و فرهنگ ایران از گذشته تاکنون ، سهروردی چگونه و با چه اصولی می خواهد از منابع فرهنگی و فکری ایران باستان بهره برداری نموده و این اصول را در قالب یک نظام اندیشه سیاسی منسجم و نوین تبیین و تحلیل نماید. سوال این است که تبیین سهروردی از اصول و ارزشهای نظام اندیشه سیاسی ایرانشهری ، چه تاثیری بر فهم ما از حکمرانی و عدالت در این نظام داشته است؟ بنظر می رسد که سهروردی با بهره گیری از مفهوم حکمت اشراقی ، اصول و ارزشهای نظام اندیشه سیاسی ایرانشهری را به گونه ای تبیین و تفسیر نموده که بر پایه آن ، حکمرانی متوازن و عادلانه به عنوان یک اصل اصولی در سیاست معرفی شده است. پژوهش حاضر از نوع بنیادی و با روش کیفی و رویکرد توصیفی – تحلیلی و به شیوه کتابخانه ای – اسنادی(فیش برداری) طراحی و تدوین شده است. هدف از این پژوهش تبیین اندیشه سهروردی از نظام اندیشه سیاسی ایرانشهری در ایران باستان می باشد. یافته ها نشان می دهند که سهروردی با تلفیق حکمت اشراقی و میراث فرهنگی ایران باستان ، توانسته است اصول بنیادین را در زمینه حکمرانی و عدالت تعریف نموده و به طور ویژه بر مبنای ارزشهای اخلاقی و معنوی استوار بماند. https://www.psirj.ir/article_246836_325ebf0722a048f755936658acc19060.pdf
